Cookie Policy
Last Updated: March 12, 2026
This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly. This page explains what cookies are, which categories we use on the Tirqelvox Kitchen Studio website, and how you can control optional cookies through the cookie preferences tools.
1) What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They help a website remember information such as session state, security settings, and—in some cases—how visitors use the site. Cookies may be set by us (first-party cookies) or by third parties that provide services such as analytics or advertising (third-party cookies).
In addition to cookies, some services use similar technologies such as pixel tags or server-side event forwarding. These technologies may collect or receive information from your browser or device (for example, an IP address, browser type, or event details like a form submission) to measure performance and improve content. Optional analytics and marketing technologies are only activated after you provide consent through our cookie banner or preferences modal.
2) Cookie lifespans and types
- Session cookies exist only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them.
- First-party cookies are set by our site domain.
- Third-party cookies are set by service providers whose tools may be used on our site (for example, analytics or advertising platforms).
3) Categories of cookies we use
Essential cookies (always active)
These cookies are necessary for the website to function, provide basic security, and store your cookie consent choice. Because they are required for core site operation, they do not require consent under applicable EU/UK rules.
Essential cookies may include a session identifier used to keep page interactions consistent and a consent cookie that remembers your preferences so we do not repeatedly ask for the same selection.
Analytics cookies (optional)
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site—for example, which pages are visited most often and whether navigation works smoothly. We use this information to improve lesson descriptions, curriculum explanations, and overall usability.
If enabled, analytics may include Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymization. Analytics cookies are only activated after you provide consent in the cookie banner or preferences modal, and we aim to keep analytics data retention to 14 months.
Marketing cookies (optional)
Marketing cookies are used to measure advertising performance and show relevant content. For example, they may help attribute a registration request to a campaign, limit how often the same ad is shown, or support remarketing audiences.
If enabled, marketing cookies may include Google Ads and Meta Pixel identifiers. Marketing cookies are only activated after you explicitly consent. You can withdraw consent at any time using the cookie preferences tools described below.
4) Cookie table
The table below lists common cookies that may be used when the corresponding category is enabled. Some cookies appear only if a particular provider is activated and only after you consent (for analytics and marketing categories).
| Name | Purpose | Category | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _site_session | Site session continuity | Essential | First-party | Session |
| cookie_consent | Stores your consent choice | Essential | First-party | 12 months |
| _ga | GA4 user identifier | Analytics | Third-party | 2 years |
| _ga_XXXXXXXXXX | GA4 session state (10-char GA4 ID) | Analytics | Third-party | 2 years |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads conversion linker | Marketing | Third-party | 90 days |
| _fbp | Meta Pixel browser identifier | Marketing | Third-party | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta Pixel click identifier | Marketing | Third-party | 90 days |
Note: The names above are examples of common cookies used by the listed providers. Actual cookie names and retention can vary based on configuration and provider updates.
5) Third-party providers
When enabled, certain cookies may be set by third-party providers that help us operate and improve the website. Depending on your cookie choices, these providers may process cookie identifiers and related technical data to deliver the requested functionality.
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, tag management): analytics measurement, conversion attribution, remarketing.
- Meta Platforms (Pixel and related tools): advertising measurement, audience building, and conversion attribution.
- Cloudflare (security and performance): may process IP-based threat signals to protect the site.
We do not permit these providers to use site data for their own independent commercial purposes. For more details about how partners handle data, see the Privacy Policy.
6) How to manage cookie preferences
You can control optional analytics and marketing cookies using our cookie preference tools. The easiest way is to open the cookie banner from the footer and adjust your selection:
- Use the footer link labeled “Manage cookie preferences” to reopen the cookie banner.
- Choose “Manage Preferences” to open the detailed settings and enable or disable analytics and marketing cookies.
- Save your selection to apply it to your browser.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to delete existing cookies and block some or all cookies. If you block essential cookies, the site may not function properly.
Additional opt-out resources (provider-managed) may include: the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and ad preference tools for Google and Meta. These tools are controlled by the providers and may change over time.
